This is where the magic is… Strategy Coaching Technology is what will take a client in the worst situation, with the worst feelings, habits, relationships, etc., and change it all in ONE SESSION.
The keys to causing GLOBAL CHANGE in your clients are shared in this video:
1. Pain / Pleasure: All human behavior is merely an attempt to gain pleasure and avoid pain. More specifically, to meet (and avoid loosing) SURVIVAL NEEDS. There are four:
- Certainty
- Variety
- Significance
- Love
2. The emotions and behavior that we do habitually or as a reaction to our world come from three forces:
- Physiology (movement, position/posture, biochemistry)
- Language (spoken, visual, internal/external)
- Focus/Beliefs (philosophy, thoughts, your ‘reality’)
3. The three forces create an emotional “fuel of choice” which we use “habitually” to fulfill our survival needs. This creates a pattern that produces the four measurable results:
- Peer Group
- Identity
- Focus
- Emotion
4. There are five steps by which we can change these patterns within ourselves or our clients:
- Diagnosis
- Conditioning
- Leverage
- Peer Group
- Empowering Alternative
Ultimately, the only reason anyone does anything, whether wonderful or destructive, it’s to meet the needs. To change someone’s life, change how they meet the needs!

Well done Jeff, that was an excellent video and well worth the time invested in watching it, thanks for sharing this important information so willingly.
your video keeps starting and stopping….very frustrating
This is a large video file, so if your internet connection is not fast enough, the video will stall.
To avoid this, do the following:
1. press ‘play’ on the video player
2. wait for the video to start playing
3. immediately press ‘pause’ on the video player
4. wait for a few minutes (the video will load during this time)

Fantastic video, Jeff! I thoroughly enjoyed it, as per usual. I was particularly interested in the video which I initially saw a portion of on Youtube, on the topic of Burnout. Do you think you could send me a link or perhaps an email with the remainder of this video? I have been unable to find it.
Regards,
Ashley

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for this. What program did you use to create this presentation where you can see the video of you speaking as well as the PPT presentation? It’s great! Let me know.
Best,
Neely
Awesome way of looking at the core value needs.
That video has been taken down and is currently unavailable. I’ll keep you in the loop if/when we repost it in the future.
Jeff
That’s Screenflow on a Mac.
Jeff
Great Video!Very well presented. Please contact me about the Platinum Course you offer.
Jimmy
Jimmy,
I’ll be emailing you soon with all the details.
Jeff
On the power point, you misspelled “psychology” which is supposed to have an “h.” Look at the word “internal psychology.”
Otherwise, great job! I just figured I’d let you know because I can see from the quality of your work how important it is to you to create professional presentations.
Jeff,
Excellent presentation and of great help. Just what I needed for a jump start in my practice. These are just the kinds of vidoes we need. Don’t stop!
Very good…..! Keep them coming. I’m like a sponge absorbing your style, approach. Thank you!
Hi Jeff,
According to Tonny Robbins the human needs are 6 and not 4 as you mentioned.
Although the good explanation of the 4 human needs, i find it fair if you mentioned the Tonny name here because its the inventor of this.
What do you think jeff?
Thanks
In NO way shape or form did Tony Robbins invent the 4 survival needs. Saying that would be akin to saying that ‘McDonalds invented the hamburger.’
Having worked for Tony Robbins for over a year, and having been through most of his major content and trainings / seminars, and having worked closely with many on his leadership team, I’m not aware of one single thing that Tony himself has ‘invented’ himself.
He has developed and built on many ideas from NLP to such an extent that they are more ‘his’ than ‘stolen’, but that’s far from invention.
Tony generally steals his stuff and renames it, which is exactly what he did with his ‘6 Human Needs’.
I DID learn this particular model from Tony, but that’s where the credit should end.
Jeff
Hi jeff,
first i found it scandalous hat you talk this way (Tony generally steals his stuff and renames it) about the person from who you learned this stuff.
Second if he is not the inventor, please let me know who is the inventor. Personally i’ve never hear a coach talking about the six human need.
Regards, Salah
Jeff,
The link in this video takes us to your original Part 1 and not the specific Part 4 that you are showing as the link to. You have confused the two links….
Robert,
You’re absolutely right. Thanks for the heads up! I’m updating this right now, so hopefully by the time you click back to the page you’ll be able to download the correct video.
Jeff
All I hear is Anthony Robbins & it was harsh listening to deep dark stories that killed ppl with such a matter of fact tone.
I’m quite certain I said more in this video than “Anthony Robbins”.
It IS harsh, isn’t it? Wouldn’t it be great if these parts of our psychology were better known and used to provide relief to some of that harshness?
Jeff
Maslow’s Hierarchal Needs
Similar model, yes. I find this one a bit simpler and more useful, but you could use either or both for similar impact, I suppose.
Jeff
The video was cool.
